While client was at deck ten ( 10) of the starboard side of the vessel, walking between the breakfast buffet area to the pool area beverage station to refill his soda, he slipped and fell as a result of a wet, slippery, dangerous and inadequately safe flooring surface resulting in injuries to his person. Sued the cruise line for negligence after its agent, representative and/or employee was recklessly pushed in the wheelchair where the client was seated and caused to be ultimately thrown to the ground injuring her knees on the deck of the vessel resulting in a tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus with radial and horizontal components that required a total knee replacement. As client was walking down the very narrow and heavily carpeted aft passenger staircase, her foot slipped on the step of the second set of stairs, causing her to lose her balance and fall forward, tumbling down all the steps and landing on the bottom step. The fall caused client to scrape her right arm; to bend her glasses ninety (90) degrees and to cause her left foot to be bent backwards, dangling off of her clearly broken ankle. The carpet on the staircase was about half an inch thick and did not have any protective strip on the edge of each step and ran continuously throughout the horizontal and perpendicular sides of all the stairs steps. The stair surface was inadequate to provide sufficient traction to prevent slipping. Successful Pre-Suit Settlement.

As client was walking down a common area hallway of the vessel to his room, he was physically attacked by a stranger causing him permanent injuries. Successful Pre-Suit Settlement.

Slip and fall inside cabin’s bathroom resulting in a Trimalleolar fracture of client’s left ankle. Successful Pre-Suit Settlement.

As client was walking backwards for a lay-up shot to the basket, at the vessel’s basketball court, her foot hit the bottom edge of the unpadded fiberglass wall enclosure that partially surround the basketball court, causing her bodily injuries, more specifically, a tear to her Achilles tendon to her right foot.
